# GwActivityRequest

`GwActivityRequest` is a plain data-transfer object that carries the payload fields needed to create a Guidewire claim activity — specifically a hearing or mediation reserve reminder due 30 days out. It is built by `clsScheduleManager.CreateScheduleActivity`/`clsAssignmentManager.CreateScheduleActivity` after a successful Guidewire matter sync for `HEAR`/`MED` schedule types, and passed to the `GWActivityData` API client. It has no base class and no persistence behavior of its own.

## Purpose
- Carry the claim ID, activity type, and due-date fields required to create a Guidewire hearing/mediation reminder activity.
- Decouple the Guidewire REST payload shape from the internal `clsLegalSchedule` business object, so the API client only needs to serialize this DTO.

## Context
- Namespace: `SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal`
- Assembly/package: `SAIF.Application.Claim.Legal.dll` (embedded library, constructed by `clsScheduleManager`/`clsAssignmentManager` and consumed by the `GWActivityData` API client)

## Public members
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `New()` | `Public Sub New()`* | Default constructor for property-initializer-style construction before serialization to the Guidewire API request body. |
| `ClaimId` | `Public Property ClaimId As Decimal`* | Identifies the Guidewire claim the activity should be created against. |
| `ActivityType` | `Public Property ActivityType As String`* | Identifies the kind of Guidewire activity being created (hearing or mediation reserve reminder). |
| `DueDate` | `Public Property DueDate As Date`* | Sets the activity's due date, computed as 30 days from the schedule event per this library's activity-creation logic. |

## Behavioral notes
- This DTO is only ever constructed as part of the Guidewire matter-sync success path (`HEAR`/`MED` schedule types); it is not used independently of that workflow*.

## Constraints and usage notes
- As a plain DTO, `GwActivityRequest` performs no validation of its own; correctness of the values depends entirely on the caller (`clsScheduleManager`/`clsAssignmentManager`)**.

> marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
